The part for May 2007 shows an extremely thin-walled
connection part which finds its application
in the measuring technique of liquids.
With a nominal wall thickness of only 0,6 mm,
made by investment casting from Grade 5 titanium
material it is of remarkable casting complexity.
To expand mechanical strength an inner helix
was set and the connecting flange areas show
increased material thickness.
