are thin-walled titanium parts of material
Ti6Al4V, Grade 5.
They show the successful substitution of a part
formerly done by stamping and now produced
in vacuum by casting methods.

The wall-thickness of the parts shown is 1 mm,
the weight around 23 g.
Application: Level-measurement in the
environment of agressive chemical fluids.
After welded to a complete ball these parts were
successfully tested by applying more than
500 bars on outer surface without any damage.



Parts with nearly identical construction but some
modified specifications are also used in the field
of medical industry where the material titanium
is often preferred because of his biomedical compatibility.
